For years, I built a successful career as an administrator and director, leading teams and overseeing programs in education, special education, and curriculum development. On the outside, I was great at my job and proud of my accomplishments. But inside, I was stressed, overwhelmed, and deeply unhappy. Even though I was good at what I did, I felt stuck and afraid to make a change. As a single mom raising two boys, the thought of starting over mid-career felt impossible, especially since I hadn’t applied for or interviewed for a job in years.
